Introduction: 

The NRN Day Celebration, Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Global Conclave is a significant biennial event organized by the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA). This event is a gathering of NRNs (Non-Resident Nepalis) from around the world, Resident Nepalis, Friends of Nepal, as well as distinguished personalities and dignitaries from Nepal and international community. The event is scheduled to take place at The Soaltee, Kathmandu Kathmandu from October 27th to 28th, 2024. 

Brief overview of the event: 

The event encompasses various components, including the NRN Day Celebration, Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Global Conclave of NRNA. These components provide a platform for engaging discussions, knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration on topics related to the role of the diaspora in sustainable development, rights of Nepali diaspora, investment, safe migration and foreign employment, women & youth, innovation, and cultural & tourism promotion of Nepal. 

The event manifolds the visibility of the sponsors as the event will be represented physically and followed through online platforms by the diaspora including the members of 86 National Coordination Council (NCC) formed around the world, International Coordination Council (ICC) of NRNA and huge number of national and international dignitaries of various fields. NRNA is a huge member-based organization, and it is noteworthy that an estimated 3.5 million NRNs reside globally. The event is a hub for extensive networking as NRNA will be collaborating with many intellectuals/think tanks, organizations, institutions and business houses. NRNA, since its establishment has been a trusted development partner of the Government of Nepal.
